I want to ask you a question. Although I am not in shape and haven’t played soccer for a long time what if I still want to participate in the Tryouts soccer don’t bother too much Upon following these simple steps you will be soon be ready to participate
The coach chooses only the strongest players to make up the team, being a coach you will be aware of this. Sometimes few young new players are required who can fit the existing set up.
But in soccer tryouts there are lot many variables involved.
Once you know what a coach is actually looking for during the soccer tryouts, you can focus on showing off your kid’s skills and personality that will make them successful in the tryouts.
A player has to exhibit the following things which the coaches and soccer association will be looking for
Skill: how well the player performs the skill that is necessary to play soccer this will be critically evaluated by the coach. the performance in the match will be poor if the player is not able to exhibit the same during soccer tryouts. For takers skills like control of the ball during tapping, dribbling, passing. watch out for knowledge on soccer and players intuition.
Conditioning: A player with excellent conditioning coupled with average skills will always attract the coach’s eye. And so will the player who is out of breath just after 15 minutes into the soccer tryout. If the stamina of the player is low during tryouts soccer, they let both themselves and the team down.
A coach will wonder why this player didn’t bother to get in shape or keep in shape. Not in shape at soccer is a reflection of your thinking, it can be either you don’t care, or are lazy, or you are highly un disciplined thinking that being out of shape wouldn’t matter.
Attitude: The player must always have the potential and should seek to learn Do the player consistently exhibiting the potential to perform at his peak every time?
have they got the willingness to learn new things and constantly improve themselves? Are they flexible? Are they willing to learn new skills, techniques and strategies? Are they open to learning new positions without complaining?
Observe what happens next once the soccer tryouts are over Many times tryouts are conducted over a number of days. the coach might inform you immediately if your player has made to the team. at other times you might be informed about their decision either through a call or letter to your home. Do not ask him if they have succeeded or not.
finally make sure you have collected everything that belongs to you. thanks the coach for his valuable time and inputs which will help you make a better player during the soccer tournament inform him before leaving
